ABOUT SUPERLINEA
Superlinea is the creative studio of Dublin designer/tilemaker Stephanie Mc Guinness. The name ‘Superlinea’ speaks to an obsession with the line, and the untapped design possibilities contained in the grout line. The interest is created not with regular uniform patterns, but with irregularity and creativity. We specialise in incredibly unique and bespoke tile designs, unlike anything that is available on the market at present. Superlinea is a true artisan brand, and tiles are 100% handcrafted by Stephanie from wet clay to the finished tile in a small-scale studio in Westmeath, Ireland.
ABOUT THE DESIGNER
Stephanie Mc Guinness was born and raised in North Dublin, and graduated from the National College of Art and Design in Dublin with a BDes in Ceramics. She lived and worked for over 3 years in Hanoi, and during that time, took the opportunity to eat and drink her way around a number of Asian countries. She lives in beautiful Westmeath with her partner Shane and works from her studio there. She was a DJ in a former life and collects records, likes running, and enjoys the odd negroni.
